Privacy policy
Revia is an app for business owners who manage their Google Business Profile: replying to reviews with the help of artificial intelligence, posting updates, keeping the profile up to date and seeing where they rank on Google Maps. This policy explains what data Revia uses, why, who we share it with and what you can do about it.
1. Who is responsible
Revia is a service of Skala Marketing LLC, a company registered in Florida, United States ("we"). For any privacy question, write to soporte@revialocal.app. The rules of use are in the terms of service.
2. What data we use
Your account. Your email address and your password, which is stored encrypted and never seen by us. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive the email and, if you share it, the name of that account; with Apple you can hide your email and use a private address.
Your business on Google. When you connect your Google Business Profile, Revia reads the profile information (name, description, categories, address, phone, website, hours and photos), the reviews (rating, text, date and the public name they were posted under), your replies, your posts and the profile statistics (views, calls, clicks, direction requests and searches). Reviews are public on Google; we use them so the business can read and reply to them. The connection to Google goes through an authorized connection provider: we do not store your Google credentials.
What you write and post. Review drafts and replies, posts, profile changes, the assistant guide and the photos you choose on your phone to post. Revia only accesses the photos you choose.
Your position on Google Maps. The searches you want to check, the map point they are measured from (your business location or the one you set) and the public results of each check: names, ratings and review counts of the businesses that show up.
Notifications. If you turn them on: a device identifier to send you alerts, the platform and the language.
Subscription. Your plan, its status, the store and the renewal date. Payment is processed by Apple or Google: we never see your card or payment details.
Technical data. Our logs keep internal identifiers and error codes, not the content of your reviews or your email. Our hosting providers may log the IP address of each request.
What we do not collect. Revia does not use your phone's location or your contacts, shows no ads and uses no analytics or tracking across apps or websites.
3. Why we use it
- To provide the service: show your business, reply and post on Google when you ask or allow it, and measure your position.
- To write drafts with artificial intelligence, only for the locations where you allow it.
- To send the notifications you turned on and the emails your account needs, such as confirming your email or changing your password.
- To manage your subscription.
- To protect your account and the service, and to comply with the law.
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data to perform our contract with you (the service), with your consent (AI for each location and notifications, which you can withdraw at any time) and for our legitimate interest (security).
4. Artificial intelligence
To write a reply, Revia sends the AI model the business name, the review's rating and text (without emails, links or phone numbers), the tone and language, and your assistant guide. The reviewer's name is not sent: Revia adds it afterwards. To set up the assistant it may send your profile's public information and the text of your website, if you provide it. Our artificial intelligence provider works with zero data retention: it does not keep what we send or use it to train models.
5. Who we share it with
Only with the providers we need to run the service, who process the data on our behalf:
- Hosting and database: the app's servers and accounts, in the United States.
- Connection to Google: access to your Google Business Profile and temporary storage of the photos you post.
- Google: what you post on your profile and, if you sign in with Google, sign-in.
- Apple: if you sign in with Apple, sign-in, and App Store purchases.
- Artificial intelligence: drafts of replies and posts, with zero data retention.
- Maps and search: Google Maps positions and area names.
- Notifications: their delivery, together with Apple and Google.
- Subscriptions: their management, together with the App Store and Google Play.
- Email: sending your account emails.
We may also share data when the law requires it.
6. How long we keep it
- Reviews, the profile and the statistics we read from Google are kept as a temporary copy for 24 hours.
- Position check results, up to 400 days.
- Photos you upload stay about 7 days in temporary storage; the ones you post are kept by Google.
- Everything else, while you have your account. When you delete it we delete it too; our providers' backups roll over on their usual cycle.
7. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, port, object to the use of or delete your data. Write to soporte@revialocal.app from your account's email and we will answer within 30 days. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also complain to your data protection authority. If you live in California, you also have the right to know what data we process and not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights; we do not sell or share data for advertising.
8. Deleting your account
In the app: Settings → Delete account. Your account and your businesses and locations in Revia are deleted with all their content, and your Google profiles are disconnected. What you already posted on Google stays there. Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription: cancel it in the App Store or Google Play. Apple, Google and our subscription provider keep the purchase records the law requires. More details at revialocal.app/en/delete-account.
9. Security
All communication is encrypted (HTTPS), temporary connection data is stored encrypted and database access is limited to each account. No system is infallible: if we detect a problem affecting your data, we will let you know as the law requires.
10. Data outside your country
Our providers store data mainly in the United States. Where the law requires it, we use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
11. Children
Revia is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 18.
12. Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above and, if the change is significant, let you know in the app.
